My Top 10 Best Holiday Marketing Strategies EVER!
Can you believe the holidays are already upon us?? It’s Christmas season, ladies!! I don’t know about you but this is my favorite time of year — by far!!
Christmas season = best season.
So when you combine my obsession with helping people get clients AND my obsession with Christmas, what do we get?
Well, we get a post that 1500 words long and JAM-PACKED with all my juiciest holiday marketing strategies.
Alright, so you want to know my top 10 holiday marketing strategies? You asked, I delivered.
Ready? Let’s do this thannng!
Holiday Marketing Tip #1: Plan ahead (way more ahead than you think).
Basically, if you haven’t already been planning, you need to start NOW.
It takes time to create a well-thought-out, ,intentional holiday marketing gameplan and you need to get that started asap. (Probably yesterday).
So, exactly can you plan ahead?
Easy. It’s a 3-step process:
Map out your launch goals and the launch gameplan.
Get a holiday-themed photoshoot scheduled and completed ASAP. (Can be done on your iphone).
Start prepping your posts and getting your content written.
See, when you write it all out, ,this actually starts to seem tangible and doable, no?

Holiday Marketing Tip #2: Drop tooons of hints and teasers.
Have you ever see someone launch something too quickly without enough hype?
Maybe they make one little timid post and then, crickets.
So they get discouraged and slowly back away, like Homer Simpson into the bushes:
Has your visibility ever looked like this during a launch?
If you are worried your initial launch post will flop, take action steps to make sure it doesn’t!
TEASE YOUR LAUNCH!!
A really great way to do this is through a launch day count-down where you count down the days until your launch kicks off.
Here’s the thing, you can never be too excited for your launch and neither can they!
Start getting people excited the week leading up to your launch. Get them panting for what you are selling.
On that note, guess what I am launching on Black Friday?!
I will be launching all my programs, courses and trainings for $99 instead of $4970!! Join the waitlist so you don’t lose your spot!
Holiday Marketing Tip #3: Avoid false urgency. Create a real reason to buy.
In general, avoid sleazy marketing tactics.
I could write a whole book on this.
Who know? Maybe I will.
But let me just say that one of the fastest ways to alienate your audience and potential customers is to be a spammy sleazeball.
You feel weird being sleazy (and good, you should!)
They feel weird, too.
Instead of employing false urgency tactics, (which at their core, are actual lies) , why not create an offer that gets YOU and YOUR CLIENTS excited??
If you spend a little more time creating an offer you really love (and is a good fit for your clients), they will be LINING up to buy from you!
Holiday Marketing Tip #4: Consider going low-offer for the holidays.
Every year, people ask me why I sell my holiday for so low. I mean, instead of $4000 or more, it’s just $99. That feels too good to be true, right?
But here’s the thing: I truly see it as a way of giving back.
I remember what it was like.
You know you have to invest in your business (and you literally would if you had the money.) You just need a mentor to give you your first break. That’s what I do, each holiday season.
I spend the last month of the year giving back. Helping people with no expectations. I believe it’s one of the reasons I have seen such success -- I truly lead from the place of having a servant’s heart.
Low end offers are a really good way to FEEL the impact you are making — not a bad way to go into the holiday season.
Holiday Marketing Tip #5: Keep it simple, especially if it’s your first time launching something for the holiday
Here’s the thing, the last thing in the world you need during the holiday season is a complicated offer, an overwhelming launch plan and no time to execute it.
Can you imagine?! That’s a recipe for disaster.
My advice? Keep it extremely simple.
My mentor talks about the 5 Ones (this applies for anyone who is wanting to hit 6-figures but it also applies to your holiday launch.)
Following the simple principles of The Five Ones is what skyrocketed my business growth:
One Target Market
One Problem Solved
One System for Getting Clients (if you get on the waitlist for my Black Friday sale you can access MY personal systems for getting booked solid.)
One Offer
For One Year
See how simple this is? The simpler, the better, really.
Map it all out and then ask yourself, “How can I make this even more simple? Even more straight forward?”
One of the easiest ways to keep things simple is just by coming right out and saying things, “I’m launching x and it’s going to help achieve y and the invest is z.”
Easy and simple and straight-forward.
Holiday Marketing Tip #6: Make a list and check it twice. In other words, make sure you are positioned for success.
If you want a successful holiday season, here is what you need to double check:
Have I clearly defined the big end result that they will get after they purchase from me?
Don’t skip this!! Say it out loud and actually feel good about it. I will repeat the question, “What is the ONE clear [transformation/end result/business result/thing] they will get?”
Look, if you don’t know what your client is getting, well, neither do they. So they won’t buy it.
Is my price point good?
At the end of the day, pricing is an energy exchange between you and your client. What does this mean?
It means that YOU have to feel good about your pricing AND your client has to feel good about your pricing.
THAT * IS * It.
So, be sure you feel good about your pricing and make sure it’s a good range for your client.
Are my promo strategies fool-proof?
Getting more clients (by finding the right strategies to market yourself) is my obsession.
I am constantly creating free content around this and, if you aren’t feeling solid around your marketing strategies, you could check out the following free content:

Holiday Marketing Tip #7: Don’t reinvent the launch wheel here.
Alright, you want the juicy juicy secrets?
Thirsty for the good stuff that most business coaches keep secret behind closed doors? Want the breakdown of a good launch strategy??
You got it, friend. Here to help.
Here is what the average successful launch looks like:
(everyone’s launch is a little different but here is a broad stroke outline)
Typically last 2-3 weeks
Has a heavy emphasis on being “super visible”
Sometimes has VIP options or bonuses
Usually offers payment plans
2-3 weeks are often marked by a flurry of follow ups and answering questions
So, what does this mean for you? It means you can reasonably follow a plan that is similar to this -- don’t feel that you need to reinvent the wheel here.
Holiday Marketing Tip #8: Keep your calendar as clear as possible.
If you are serious about having a successful holiday launch, cool!!! I am so excited for you!!
...but…
...you need to realize that sacrifices will have to be made.
In my own hard-earned experience, it is very difficult to thoroughly launch when you are running around like a crazy lady because you have over-committed to other things.
Realize you will need to cut things out for this season — that’s okay!!
I recommend that you tell those in your life that you might be a little bit more plugged in than usual during your launch stage — give yourself the mental permission you need to make that happen.
Your laundry might fall behind or your social life or whatever it might be, so be it.
In this season, hold told to your WHY -- your dreams and goals.
Holiday Marketing Tip #9: Follow up or lose.
Ask anyone who has been in sales for a while -- they will all tell you that the fortune is in the follow up.
Want me to really blow your mind? Did you know that 80% of sales are closed only after 5-12 follow-ups??
I know, right?? When was the last time you followed up with someone 5 times? I guarantee 90% of you reading this haven't EVER followed up more than four times with the same person.
NOT. ONLY. THAT. BUT did you also know that only 20% of salespeople follow up more than 5 times??
So, what does that tell us??
20% OF ALL THOSE IN YOUR INDUSTRY ARE CLOSING 80% OF THE SALES.
Ouch.
Let’s use an example. This is one of the most important things I’ve ever written so pay attention.
Let’s say you are a life coach and you are one of the only 10 life coaches in the whole world.
And let’s say that there are only 100 clients total for all life coaches in the world.
Because they follow up more than 5 times, 2 of those life coaches are booking 80 of those clients. EIGHTY!!!
Not
Only
That
BUT you and 7 other life coaches are splitting the remaining 20 clients.
OUCHHHHHH!
So, how do you follow up?
Simple.
You keep it short,
You are polite and
You provide value.
The fortune is in the follow up.
Don’t let your fears keep you from leaving 80% of your income on the table.
Holiday Marketing Tip #10: Don’t forget the things that really matter.
Throughout this season but esp leading into the holidays, remember to count your blessings — and not in a cheesy way. It will make you a happier person.
Publicly express gratitude, too, it’s a great way to inspire and encourage those around you, especially if you share a challenge you’re grateful you have overcome. “I accomplished x and you can, too!”
Be sure to spend quality time with your family.
Revisit the WHY of your business — why did you start it? Always good to do that towards the end of the year.
If you're a person of faith, obviously remembering the reason for the season will be something that comes naturally to you :)
And finally, self-care — girl, treat yo’self! And I mean it. Take steps to make your dreams come true. Invest in your dreams.
Let 2020 be the year your dreams become your actual, living, breathing reality.
